Topi Syrjäläinen (Helsingin Suunnistajat, pictured) quickly adapted to the terrains of Salla, winning the H21E class and leading the competition at every intermediate control. In the women’s D21E class, Elisa Mattila of Kalevan Rasti claimed victory in equally dominant fashion. Second places went to Milja Väätäjä (Paimion Rasti) and Eetu Savolainen (Ikaalisten Nouseva-Voima). The Ojanaho siblings, Olli (Helsingin Suunnistajat) and Eeva-Liina (Ounasvaaran Hiihtoseura), finished third in their respective classes in the Lapland terrain.
