On Day 4 of the competition, Eetu Savolainen of Ikaalisten Nouseva-Voima claimed victory in the men’s elite class. Olli Ojanaho of Helsingin Suunnistajat finished second, ahead of his clubmate Topi Syrjäläinen, who crossed the line 49 seconds behind the winner.
In the women’s elite class, Eeva-Liina Ojanaho of Ounasvaaran Hiihtoseura celebrated her second consecutive stage victory. She finished ahead of Kalevan Rasti teammates Elisa Mattila and Marika Teini.
The overall standings also saw a change at the top in both elite classes, with Eetu Savolainen (IKNV) and Eeva-Liina Ojanaho (OH) taking over the overall lead.
